Gae Aulenti “Alcinoo” Table Lamp For Artemide, 1975 Italy

For sale a very rare, original Mid-Century Modernist “Alincoo” table lamp designed by Gae Aulenti in 1975 for Artemide of Italy.

This large Space Age table lamp in blown glass with metal reinforced caged structure, can either be used as a table lamp or a floor lamp, defuses the light beautifully and makes quite a statement.

The lamp is in excellent vintage condition, despite some paint loss where the glass sits on the base and has some minor general wear commensurate with age and careful use. The three bulb configuration is singularly controlled from an in-line switch.
