For sale the iconic and very rare Goble Easy Chair (model S725), designed by Dorothy & Paul Goble for the Stag Cabinet Co. Ltd and dating from 1962.
The chair, with it’s distinctive moulded laminated beech frame and wonderfully simple yet clever design & construction, was produced for a limited period during the early 1960’s. This chair has been re-webbed using quality Pirelli Webbing Rubber (to match the original black straps), has brand new custom-made regulation foam cushions and has been newly upholstered in a beautiful light grey 100% wool fabric. The frame is solid & firm and in lovely vintage condition, with some minor marks and scratches commensurate with age and use.
A very popular and sought-after piece of mid-century modernist furniture and a great investment piece that would look fantastic in any retro, modern, eclectic or contemporary setting.
