This Stunning and rare Lumitron mushroom shaped ceiling pendant light, designed by industrial design maestro Robert Welch in 1966, makes quite a design statement and is in fantastic condition and in good working order.
The light has an outer see-through smokey indigo perspex shade with an inner white acrylic globe and white diffuser with downward facing aperture.
An iconic piece of British Mid 20th Century design that gives off a wonderful glow and looks absolutely fantastic. In superb vintage condition with a few minor marks to the acrylic and some scratches to the chrome parts (see pics), commensurate with 50+ years of age and careful use.
Approx. dimensions: 37cm H (to top of metal part) x 38cm D. The wire has a maximum drop of approximately 85cm and can be adjusted to suit.
