“Rimini Blu” Cat by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy 1950s

For sale a stunning vintage mid-century Italian Decorative Cat designed by Aldo Londi in the 1950’s and produced by Bitossi for their ‘Rimini Blu’ series.

This gorgeous and rare object has the characteristic Bitossi impressed pattern and has the vibrantly rich blue & green glaze, typical of Londi’s hugely popular and collectable ‘Rimini Blu’ series.

The Cat is in good vintage condition, has no cracks but does have some small areas of glaze loss (see photos), commensurate with age & use but nothing to detract.
