For sale a stunning and very rare model #422 adjustable table lamp produced by REGGIANI of Italy and designed by Piero De Martini, Falconi, and Francesco Fois, circa late 1960s, early 1970s.
This design, which is an early variant of the model G32 lamp, comprises a chrome plated metal stem, frame and counter weight, with white lacquered shade and base. Simple, elegant and extremely beautiful, the lamp can be adjusted up and down the stem and articulates into virtually any position.
The chrome is very clean and bright, with a few specs and marks, the shade is mostly clean with some minor wear and the base has marks and scratches commensurate with 50+ years of age and use, but absolutely nothing to detract. The stem and base have plugged apertures, where the cord may have originally run through. Due to it’s size and reach the lamp could also be used as a floor standing reading lamp.
