Oldrich Lipsky Signed Facetted Cut Glass Vase by Exbor, c. 1964

For sale a stunning modernist abstract, optical, cut & polished EXBOR Art Glass Vase by renowned Czech glass designer, OLDRICH LIPSKY in c.1964.

Acid stamped “Exbor Czecholsovakia” to the base, the vase is made of multi-coloured Sommerso glass with a two-toned amber outer casing and a vibrant green core. The depth of the optical effect cleverly changes depending on the angle it is viewed from, presenting kaleidoscopic shapes and forms made up of deep amber and rich green. The vase is in excellent vintage condition with very minor age related scratches to the base and a tiny flea bite to one of the side edges (see photos).
