A wonderfully elegant Mid-Century Modernist Italian glass & chrome six-light ceiling light, attributed to Veca and dating from circa 1970s.
The lamp consists of three sets of double lamp holders (one facing up, the other down), with each pair flanked by three bevelled smoky-green/grey glass segments, mounted onto a chrome steel central column, via 3 chrome-coloured plastic arms and all of which hang from the original chain & ceiling rose.
In good working order, the light, with its original wiring, is in good vintage condition with marks & patina commensurate with 50+ years of age & careful use. The glass segments are all in good condition, though there are a few minor, barely noticeable chips to some of the edges, and one slightly more noticeable one, which we’ve photographed.
