Mid-Century Ross Littell “PLR 1” Lounge Chair for ICF Italy, 1960s

For sale a stunning Model PLR1 (aka “LUAR”) lounge chair, designed by Ross Littell in circa 1965 for ICF and manufactured in Italy.

This highly desirable, timeless and beautiful black leather & solid chrome plated metal chair, is in superb vintage condition. The thick woven leather straps have wear commensurate with careful use and the chrome is bright and clean throughout. The only issue of note is that one of the plastic fasteners (there are two on either end of each strap) on one of the straps is missing, though this hasn’t affected the sturdiness or tightness of the strap in any way.
