Italian Mid-Century Modernist Brass Clamp Desk Lamp, c.1950s

For sale a superbly elegant Italian Mid-Century modernist brass table/desk ‘clamp’ lamp, dating from the 1950s and reminiscent of Stilnovo and Arredoluce lamps of the same period.

The lamp is controlled from a switch mounted on the brass clamp base and the elegant vertical and horizontal “T” shaped stems can be adjusted/pivoted on the joints. The Lamp works; the brass has patina commensurate with age; the shade is in reasonable condition with age & use wear (see photos) and the overall effect is fabulous!
