Italian Mid-Century Modern Targetti Sankey Periscope Table Lamp, 1960s

For sale a very rare Italian Mid-Century Space Age Targetti Sankey table lamp dating from c.1960s.

This small, distinctive, periscope shaped table lamp consist of a thick milk glass shade, mounted on an orange metal cylindrical base and held in place with two metal thumb screws. In very good vintage condition, with only very minor age related wear (see photos), commensurate with 50+ years of careful use. The light has its original wiring and inline switch and is in good working order.
