For sale a Mid-Century Space Age Harvey Guzzini designed & manufactured “Faro” (meaning Lighthouse in Italian) white mushroom shaped table lamp, produced in Italy, circa 1970.
Consisting of a chromed gallery and a bright white mushroom shaped acrylic shade and housing two bulbs, the shade is up/down adjustable on the lamp pole and gives off a wonderful glow and has a great presence.
The lamp is in good vintage condition. The white acrylic shade is undamaged, clean and carries it’s original Harvey Guzzini sticker; the chromed gallery is bright and mostly clean though there are what look like some hairline stress lines and some bubbling (see photos), which are mainly noticeable from close up; the base is marked and scratched, commensurate with 50 years of age & use but nothing to overly detract.
Measurements: height – 61cm , Diameter of shade – 33cm and the base – 23cm
