For sale an important, highly collectible and iconic piece of late 20th Century design, the wonderful “Tahiti” Lamp, designed by Ettore Sottsass in 1981 and produced by the revolutionary design outfit,  Memphis Group, Milano, Italy. This lamp is highly sought after and is included in all major museum design collections, worldwide.

This wonderfully playful design consists of a Polychrome enamelled metal “exotic bird” with pivoting head, mounted on a black & white confetti-patterned laminate base. The lamp is in good working order and in superb condition. Sold with a UK standard 3-pin plug and controlled from an in-line on/off switch.
