Ercol Model 442 Bergere Armchair / Easy Chair

A beautiful Bergere model 442 Armchair by Ercol, dating from circa mid 1960’s. The chair, with it’s beech frame and gorgeous Elm sloping armrests, is light but very strong and unlike most of the other popular Ercol designs of that era (which were continuously produced over many decades) was only produced for a limited period during the 1960’s.

Beautifully designed and cleverly constructed, the chair has been re-webbed using quality Pirelli Webbing Rubber and has brand new foam cushions and has been newly upholstered in a beautiful slate grey wool fabric.
