For sale a beautiful Ercol Model 427 “Easy Chair”, designed by Lucian Ercolani and dating from circa 1950-60’s. The chair, with it’s beech frame, is light but very strong and unlike most of the other popular Ercol designs of that era (which were continuously produced over many decades), was only produced for a limited period during the 1950’s & 60’s.
Beautifully designed and cleverly constructed, the chair has been re-webbed using quality Pirelli Webbing Rubber, has brand new fire-retardant foam cushions and has been newly upholstered in a beautiful slate grey British wool fabric.
Solid & firm and in lovely vintage condition, with marks and scratches commensurate with age and use, but absolutely nothing to detract.
