“Dondolo” Rocking Chair by Luigi Cassevig, 1970

For sale this stunning and rare, vintage Italian, Luigi Cassevig “DONDOLO” rocking chair, designed in 1970 and manufactured by his own company, CASSEVIG.

The chair is made of steam bent solid beech-wood, curved in the traditional way to produce the beautiful and iconic ‘loop’ arm and rocker out of a single length of wood. These chairs are still produced to this day, by Crassevig and come at a hefty price

This model, which was produced sometime between 1973 and 91, has it’s original dark grey cotton strap seating, is solid & firm and is in lovely vintage condition with some minor marks and scratches and the straps show some signs of wear commensurate with age.
