A truly special piece of Mid-Century British lighting design by G. A. Scott for the MacLamp Co. London, designed in 1958.
With cast iron v-shaped base and copper arms and shade, the lamp is in very good vintage condition and in good working order, with original wiring and in-line switch. Fully adjustable and with fastener intact and working. The shade has minor marks, scratches and dinks commensurate with almost 70 years of age and careful use but absolutely nothing to detract.
