For sale a very rare Giuseppe Ostuni & Renato Forti Type 201 telescopic Table / Floor Lamp, produced by Giussepe Ostuni’s O’Luce Milano, c.1955.
The design comprises a cream lacquered base, pivoting lower stem & shade and a chrome telescopic upper stem with cow-horn shaped adjusting handle detail. The shade carries an on/off switch and the lamp is in good working condition and comes with a British Standard 3-pin plug.
The lamp is in good vintage condition, with general wear, commensurate with 60+ years of age and careful use. Of note, the lacquer finish on the stem has worn thin in places, there’s a tiny protruding dent to the back of the shade and the lower part of the lower stem has a slight bend to it.
